Functional Integration (121)
Carried out in a 121 environment this gentle hands on treatment uses a low massage table and is designed to gently guide you to a deeper understanding of yourself. In the place between waking and sleeping you are guided through movements and suggestions to deeply connect all parts of yourself to help you walk taller, create easier movement with elegance, ease and less pain!
Awareness Through Movement (ATM) (group Online Classes)
Take a mat or large comfortable rug in a calm space and enjoy the gentle power of Awareness Through Movement.
These gentle movement classes are designed to boost the restful state of your nervous system allowing your body and mind to heal, move and improve through movement and awareness.
These lessons begin with some kind of reference movement – these generally relate to functional actions, reaching, stepping, rolling, folding etc. The main body of the lessons look to define and refine the different parts of the reference movement; boosting awareness of integrating the parts to the whole. Breathing, directions of force, timing, limitations. Finally the lessons conclude by revisiting the reference movement and find out if something changed or more importantly improved; as we re-integrate awareness of all the different parts into an elegant performance of the same reference.
As we do many lessons, over time, we build an intelligent map of ourselves; how we think about ourselves and how we move ourselves with more, ease less pain, leaving ourselves open to enjoy and full engage in the fun things we love to do in life.
